Welcome and thank you for your interest in ISSA design!

Issa is my childhood nickname, short for Alissa. To me, Issa represents the pursuit of childlike joy, play, wonder, safety and unconditional love. It’s beaming full of sunshine… that spark of light from within that guides us forward while embracing us unconditionally.

I have been discovering and creating spaces that drive community for decades and I've learned that people need spaces that inspire them and allow them to feel safe in order to grow. Through my travels, work in urban planning and architecture on large scale public transportation and open space projects, love of culture, community, connection and craftsmanship, I have arrived back here. Back to home, where I create sacred spaces for the meaningful moments in life. Spaces that capture the nuances of what we want to feel in those moments.

I love curating authentic spaces for a feel that is reflective of the inhabitants and the integrity of the home. I believe our homes, more now than ever, should reflect us as unique individuals and be our sanctuaries.
