Hi, I’m Issa
Almost 2 years ago, I was asked what BEAUTY means to me. My heart was open, and I was clear with my truth in that moment: UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
The past few years have been a roller coaster of emotions, painful awareness, growth and the messy beautiful process of coming HOME.

“I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH” by Corita from an exhibit dated December 1978. I discovered this art about a year ago while searching craigslist for something else (I don’t even remember). I was not even looking for a piece of art, but when I saw this heartfelt message, it was mine.
It’s a colorful rainbow reminder that LOVE is the answer. Self love and the love for others is why we are here on this life journey. The date of December 1978 is also the month and year I became a big sister!!! Reminding me of sisterhood and the gratitude I have for being blessed with my two sisters.
This corner of our living room is now a favorite nook at home where I read and journal.
